The 2023 International Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Conference is being held Friday, October 27 - Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C.
The inaugural International LGMD conference held in Chicago in 2019 welcomed over 400 patients, caregivers, physicians, researchers and advocacy groups representing ALL forms of LGMD. The second International LGMD conference in 2021 was offered in a virtual format due to COVID-19. This year we are excited to return to an in-person event! (*There will also be a virtual option to live stream all the general conference sessions. Virtual tickets will go on sale at a later date, so please check back for updates).
Don't miss this important event where you will hear from leading experts in the field, learn about the latest developments in clinical trials, meet industry leaders, and connect with the LGMD patient community.
Registration is now OPEN! We encourage you to purchase your tickets via EventBrite to attend the conference and book your hotel accommodations early!
You will find additional information on hotel, speakers, and more below, as well as in greater detail when you select the Registration buttons on this page.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Peter Marks, head of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) at the FDA. The reduced rate hotel block at the Grand Hyatt ($249/night, not including taxes/fees) includes ADA roll-in shower rooms, ADA tub rooms, and standard rooms. In the event that the hotel ADA rooms are full, please note that there are multiple hotels within close distance of the Grand Hyatt.
**Room availability/Alternate accommodations**: When you are using the Hyatt’s room reservation link for the conference, if you do not see "accessible" or "roll-in shower" in the description, it is not an ADA room!
