2025 INTERNATIONAL LGMD CONFERENCE
The 2025 International Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Conference is being held Friday, July 18 - Sunday, July 20, 2025 in Orlando, FL.
Early bird registration is open now!
We are thrilled to announce that the conference will end with an optional LGMD Family Fun Day on Monday, July 21 at many of Orlando's famous theme parks! This non-sponsored event is designed to bring together families, patients, and caregivers for a day of relaxation, fun, and community bonding in a magical setting. We encourage all attendees to participate, as the day promises to be filled with laughter, joy, and support.

- Tickets must be purchased individually by attendees for their preferred park. We encourage participants to buy their tickets directly through the park's official website or at the gate. Admission to theme parks and external attractions is not included in conference registration.
- Transportation: Transportation to and from the parks is also the responsibility of the attendees. Please plan ahead to ensure a smooth experience. We encourage participants to arrange their preferred transportation options in advance, whether through car rental, rideshare, or public transit.

Our conference room-block included all roll-in shower rooms at the JW Marriott (conference location) as well as the nearby Ritz Carlton. At this time, all ADA rooms with roll-in showers at both of these hotels are booked. There are still standard ADA rooms and standard rooms available at the conference hotel as well as the Ritz. If you require a roll-in shower room, we are providing you with a list of hotels below (at varying levels and proximity) to contact regarding roll-in availability. Note: there are two hotels "walkable" to the JW Marriott (first two hotels below); all other properties will require a taxi or rental car to get to the conference, as public transportation is not an option in this area. The first four hotels below are premium-level properties similar to JW Marriott.
