Poster Session at the International LGMD Conference

Guidelines for Poster Presentation

If you have been selected to present a poster during the conference, please review the information below.

Abstract Book:

All accepted abstracts will be included in our online abstract conference book which will be freely available to the public. The submitting author will choose to allow his/her email to be included in each abstract.

Poster Boards:

Posters should be in landscape format. Our boards are 36 x 48" and will be single sided (one poster per side); your poster must fit WITHIN these dimensions.  We use Velcro dots/pins to secure posters to the board. So please bear this in mind when selecting your poster material.

Poster Sessions:

We will hold one poster session at the end of Saturday session with a cocktail hour from 5:30 pm to 6:30pm.  In order to maximize interaction with the conference participants, we ask everyone to stand by their poster during the time slot indicated above.  Please note that you will need to be available to hang your poster Friday evening at 7pm. 

Hanging and Removing Posters:

The poster boards will be available in the Palazzo ballroom room Friday evening at 7pm and the posters hung on the outskirts of the room.  These posters need to be placed by 8pm Friday night. The trainees are responsible for removing their posters anytime Sunday after noon.
